BRISBANE – 14 September 2009: With summer just around the corner hot deals are starting to spring up on Wotif.com. And now that Wotif.com has increased their booking window to three months, Australian consumers are getting in quick for cheap summer deals.

A recent Wotif.com survey found that summer was the season of choice for Australian holiday-makers, with the Gold Coast currently seeing the most Queensland bookings through Wotif.com in November and December.

Wotif Brand Manager Megan Magill said the surge in summer bookings is expected to increase over the coming weeks with Australian’s taking advantage of the three-month booking window.

“We are already seeing some trends in Australian’s booking their summer breaks through us, with Byron Bay coming up as one of the most popular Australian beach destinations for summer at the moment, and New Zealand and Fiji are hot favourites for international summer breaks,” Ms Magill said.

“Great deals are coming through for the summer period every week so my advice would be to keep an eye on the site over the next few weeks to snap up a great spring or summer deal.”
