Beijing 8 January 2008 - Wotif.com (www.wotif.com) the specialist in discounted last-minute accommodation, has appointed Melvin Quan a Market Executive, to further accelerate the company’s expansion into the Chinese market.
Concentrating on the North of China and Hainan province, Melvin will focus on introducing more properties to the site and securing great rates for Wotif.com consumers with the listed properties in the region.
Commenting on his appointment, Melvin said: “I am very excited to be working for Wotif.com. It provides a great service for hotels and consumers and I believe there are many opportunities for growth by educating local hoteliers about the benefits of being listed on the site.

Prior to joining Wotif.com, Melvin worked in various roles in the hotel industry and has over eight years experience.
He has also completed a course in Hotel Management and a degree in Economics at the Beijing Central Party University.
